After months and months of hype, build-up, and impatient waiting, the movie adaptation of the comic “Kick-Ass”, a story about a normal, everyday teen who becomes a “superhero”, has finally come out. Directed by Matthew Vaughn and staring Aaron Johnson (who’s surprisingly British because he had me fooled he was American) as Dave Lizewski aka Kick-Ass, this is anything but your traditional superhero movie. (Okay… it is a sad excuse for a news story… but at least it is one, right?)

The rock band Paramore, which is pretty much the only band with members under the age of 20 that is AWESOME, released a new single for the movie “Twilight” called “Decode”. The song itself was released a few weeks ago, but the music video for it was just released. It depicts Hayley and company preforming the song in a forest that looks a lot like the forest from the clips shown from the movie. It works… because… naturally… with it being the first single off the soundtrack… it has to have movie clips in it! A good amount of the clips are new and unseen before the music video, so all you teenage girls jump on that. The soundtrack comes out November 4 and the movie releases on November 11. I am going to see this. I don’t care if I am a guy… THERE ARE VAMPIRES IN IT! You can watch the music video here. I hate having to link to MTV.

New Max Pyane Trailer

So, I played the first Max Pyane and when I heard they were gonna make a Max Pyane movie I was worried. The storyline was so cool and I was worried it wouldn’t translate well. Then I heard Mark Wahlberg, my hopes got a bit higher. Then I saw the first trailer. Then I knew it, it was gonna be AWESOME. Now they just released a new trailer for it and it looks even cooler. Here’s hoping the final product is as good! *crosses fingers*
